in the shop.
I design apparel graphics and I know how they get made — every station from art to the box. Most of my career was spent building and running production for brands in motorsports, action sports and streetwear. Then I went to film school, and the video, animation and on-camera work on this site is what came out of it.
Now I run Elanel Make & Motion: heat-press apparel and caps, DTF, laser, video — and the house brand, ewhaus. The client websites in the Web section each began with an online-presence audit of the business: listings, handles, booking and contact paths, checked from the outside before the first screen was designed.
- 2007–2015 Built and ran K&N Engineering's private-label apparel department from an empty room: equipment, floor layout, line identity, seasonal collections, race-team and event merch (Long Beach Grand Prix, SEMA, Formula Drift, NASCAR, Laguna Seca). ~25,000 units a year at peak.
- 2019–2022 Chaffey College — AA, Film & Television Production, with Broadcasting & Cinema certificates in Screenwriting, Motion Picture Production, Television & Video Production, and Post-Production Editing. Film school is why a print guy has a short film, spec commercials and animation on this site.
- Design Apparel and cap graphics, line and collection design, brand identity, print collateral, logos, photo restoration.
- Web Static sites on Cloudflare Pages, Google Business Profiles, and written online-presence audits for local businesses.
- Production Separations and film, screen printing (spot, process, discharge), embroidery, woven labels, DTF and heat transfer, packaging and fulfillment.
- Motion Video production, timelapse and speed-art edits, animation.
- Management Managed multiple screen-print shops; shop layout for production flow; equipment sourcing.
